Autism Partnership UK was formed in August 2000 to provide intensive behavioural treatment for children with autism. Our treatment approach is based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The agency provides consultation, supervision and direct therapy services to students with diverse needs across the country. Services are provided to families, schools, parent groups and other organisations.
Our services are coordinated from our office in Leeds, where we offer clinic based therapy sessions, group social skills and classroom skills sessions, and training workshops.
Autism Partnership UK creates a functional, individualised curriculum for each of its students and aims to promote the early generalisation
of skills. A balanced approach is used, ensuring that each student receives instruction across a wide range of skills (communication,
play and leisure activities, social interaction, stress management and self-help) and behaviours (compliance, attention, self-stimulation,
and frustration tolerance). Each child’s progress is regularly monitored and reviewed by senior staff in consultation with parents and
the therapy team. Our aim is to help the children we work with achieve their full potential. The programmes are designed to improve
the quality of life of the children and their families.
